Overview
Bringing the story of field epidemiology to life through motion and editorial collage.
Created for the World Health Organization, this animation was developed to celebrate World Field Epidemiology Day. Using a bold collage-inspired visual language, the project highlights the role of field epidemiologists by combining historical references, scientific elements and strong editorial typography into a fast-paced motion experience.
Communicating the impact of epidemiology in an engaging and accessible way.
Field epidemiology is essential to global public health, yet its role is often overlooked by wider audiences. The challenge was to transform educational information into a visually compelling story that could capture attention while remaining aligned with WHO’s communication principles.
A dynamic motion collage designed to inform, engage and inspire.
I developed a motion identity built around paper-cut textures, archival imagery, scientific symbols and bold typography. The animation combined energetic transitions with editorial compositions to communicate the mission of field epidemiologists in a way that felt both informative and visually memorable, while maintaining the credibility and clarity expected from the World Health Organization.
